Upcoming Events in Danish Nutrition Society


Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual meeting scheduled for May 27, 2020, has beem cancelled and postponed until spring 2021. In return, we will present two exiting SfE events:

On June 8, 2020 at 09.00 am we will launch two online lectures presenting the main results of the large nationwide research and dissemination project FiSK. Here you can explore what kind of fish type you are and get fresh seafood knowledge about how intake of fatty fish affects children's nutritional status and cardiovascular health. On the same day, Associate Professor Camilla T. Damsgaard, who leads the research section of FiSK, invites you to a cup of online afternoon coffee where you have the opportunity to ask questions to the results. More information will come soon.

On October 22, 2020 at 4.30 pm, we will present an exciting meeting with international lectures on ‘Energy restriction and potential benefits‘.

About Danish Nutrition Society (SfE)

Danish Nutrition Society (SfE) was founded on the 21st of February 1967 at a statutory general meeting initiated by Professor Dr. Phil. Henrik Dam, who was also chosen as the Society’s first President.

The vision of SfE was to promote the understanding and studies of nutrition-related topics and to have Danish research officially represented in international contexts.

DNS is a member of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) and Federation of European Nutritional Sciences (FENS).
